A book about a spoon! Really?

I just completed a book named The Long Spoon Framework: a short book about a long spoon.

It is a bit of a silly project

But I thought it was so interesting that a loooooooong spoon could fascinate someone like myself so much that I wrote a whole book about it!

It's about 80 pages "long" (!) and it includes 2 checklist-tools at the back that can help readers decide about people and things with quality control questions.

It's actually about usefulness. Whether the book will work for you and whether you will like it or not ... is difficult to predict.

It's only going to deliver one or two messages so it won't double up on what I'm doing here ... but as a subscriber I thought you would want to know about my Long Spoon Framework project.

It's really unlike anything I've done before

and it was just a complete experiment. Here are a few things that would possibly convince you to go and have a look:

- It's an interview with AI in which I really am caught off guard by the personal questions ... but I answer them honestly and it then, suddenly, becomes a bit of a mini biography (because I didn't write the book in the end - AI did!

Don't get upset now

- I did guide it for a few hours and I wrote the serious 5-page prompt to make sure it didn't mess it up my idea!

It is so interesting that once the AI robots (and there was more than one of them) got a hold of this idea ... of a spoon being useful (and different from other spoons because it's a looooooong latte teaspoon), it just ran with it and it went crazy. It is fascinating to see what it came up with.

Although it's my book and I claim to be the author, it really was written mostly by a "narrator" that seems so real it's absolutely astonishing.

Fact is - this entity does not really exist.

If you gain one thing from this book at all, it must be the extent to which AI has developed its own personality; its own set of interests.

It's even got a sense of humor and could spot and use irony, sarcasm, satire, and all the things that I teach my matrics in high school.

I think if I gave this book to one of my teenagers who are in my class, they will think I am absolutely crazy. Perhaps that is a worthwhile goal but you might like it. I hope.
